Want to get Facebook Alerts from your Business Pages?

One of the things I get asked about quite a lot is, how can I get alerts from my Facebook Business Page? Well the thing is Facebook forgot to add this as a functionality when they did the whole business page thing! So today I saw the question again and it has been at least a month since I had a look so I thought it was time for a bit more research.

Well I am delighted to say that some clever developers over at Hyper Interaktiv seem to have the answer to all our prayers! Well almost…..

Hyper Alerts is currently in beta, which means you can’t moan and whinge about it when it doesn’t work properly, but it would seem that it sends you periodical emails alerting you on changes on your Facebook Business pages.

Unfortunately it doesn’t do it immediately that someone makes a comment or a post to your page but it does send you an email Monthly, Weekly, Daily or even Hourly to keep you up to date with your. There is also the restriction that if your page is aimed at a location (like a UK based business) then it will not work, however it would seem that this function is coming soon.

So the answer to the much asked question is there is a solution but it is far from perfect, still we can’t complain cause it is still in beta. I look forward to them getting the rest of their functionality live so that we can all benefit. In the mean time I hope it helps at least a few of you keep up to date with your Facebook Pages.

I think the important thing to take from it is that one way or another it is possible so I am looking into it to see if there are other solutions and methods to doing it! Will keep you all updated :o)
