A Little Christmas Competition

Yes you got it that is me in a Santa suit! And this year I have been working hard at the North Pole to make sure that I am ready to deliver all my presents (OK that is for those who still think that Santa delivers all the presents)!

So I decided to put together a little Christmas competition to get you all in the festive spirit and put together a little competition for you all! As you may or may not know I have a product which is called a Site Review, which takes an in-depth view of your website and gives you enough information to put your own SEO in place and either do the work yourself or get someone to do it for you. The normal value of these is £225 (Unless of course you get in our December offer and get it for £150).

The review looks at all aspects of SEO and where your traffic comes from and gives not only hints and tips on how to improve the number of visitors you get but also the quality of those visitors to improve your conversion.

So I decided to run a little competition and I am giving away a site review to one lucky winner in my Christmas competition!

So here is what you have to do write a short paragraph on why you want a site review for your website and post it in the comments box below. And then simply head over to Twitter and post the message “I just entered the @UKWeddingSEO Christmas Competition! Have you entered yet” And that is it you are entered into the competition!!

Our winner will be selected at random by a nutty 3 year old on Boxing Day Morning (if I can drag her away from her toys for long enough) and the site review will take place in the first week of January!

I’ve a wife and 5 kids to buy presents for, I’d love it if you gave me one Steve !

I would love to win this as even though I have had good comments that people think my site good and easy to navigate, it lacks the pizazz and oomph that drives customers in.
The public have huge preconceptions about my industry so need to make a mark and ensure people know that my business is a service that they just can’t do without.
Plus it would make me smile and I might even get some Christmas Spirit going xxx

Even though you are currently redesigning my website (whoopie), I thought I’d enter your little competition…. but, I doubt I’ll need a Site Review… so instead (if I win)), £250 worth of wine would be warmly rec’d!
    Tee Hee.

Loving the Santa suit very very festive ha ha ha!!

So Im currently redesigning my site and entering this has inspired me to get it finished by Christmas. if I win then I would love you to take a little peek and tell me what Im doing wrong, and how to make it more appealing and work better for the business. I’ve heard so many people saying how great you are, and being totally poor at the moment would love to win!!!

Merry Christmas to you and everyone else

      Laura xx

p.s. taking Emma’s comments into account, if there is a runner up prize of one bottle of wine, I prefer white chardonnay 😉

    Dear Santa,

This year I have been a very good boy and not pulled my sisters hair once, it helps that she’s in her 30’s and a police officer but I think it still counts ….

last month I had a website that was first page or second page of google for a certain search term, I blinked and now its gone! off to page 10+ !!

Help me santa all I want for Christmas is a SEO optimization for my lovely website because I want to share it with as many people as possible 🙂

I’m planning on using a lot more video on my website and in my blog in 2011, so I’d like a site review to show me how I’m doing generally and how I can improve, but especially how I can make my videos work harder for me.

Happy Christmas! Loving the Santa look. (Here’s my own festive look, courtesy of friends and ebay:

I would love to have my site reviewed by you. It launched in September so it’s still only a baby. Like any proud parent, I think it’s cute but that’s not enough to help it grow into a productive future. I want people to find me easily, to have a good experience on the site, and to turn as many visits as possible into lists. I’m learning, but there’s a bewildering amount of information out there! A review from an independent and experienced point of view would steer me straight to the things that I can improve. It would make a brilliant start to the New Year and my first full year in business.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed and be extra, extra good between now and Boxing Day morning. Have a great Christmas – and safe journey on the deliveries 😉

  8. sarah on December 17, 2010 at 9:28 pm

I have been a really really really good girl this year and need a review as my website has been live for 12months now and everyone I talk to has big plans of what they are doing in 2011 and where they are heading and I am lost and haven’t a clue as to what direction to go.

Any help and guidance would be amazing and if its free thats even more amazing :o)

  9. Joyce on December 20, 2010 at 10:26 pm

I would love to win this so that I can see what I need done. I’m clueless and need as much help as possible!!

I am in the 1st year of trading and todate have had 2 weddings I would love to have this done as would help me capitalise on my customer pulling power, I am already disabled by having a vista site which I hope to change as of contract end april time and am currently working on a yola site. I do an awful lot myself to save funds but have very little experience am self taught for most of my computing skills, just broke my door lock & thats gonna cost me £100 to fix so would be great to get this advice
    cheers Santa

This would be a fab prize to win. I have started to work on my SEO over the past few weeks as I am in the process of changing my business to be exclusively wedding photography. The website is no where near finished and I constantly get confused as to what words I should include where so any help would be very much appreciated!

    Dear Santa,

I have big plans for my little business next year but to make them work I need the help of your SEO Elf because Google, linkbacks, pingbacks, slingbacks and pingpongs are making my poor little brain hurt!

Please help me escape the clutches of my evil scrooge like employers to work for myself full time!!

    Merry Christmas,

PS I’ve mostly been good this year – I think the scales tip over to the good side – probably – hopefully :o)

  13. Yvonne White on December 22, 2010 at 2:37 pm

Dear Nutty [but lovely] 3 year old

Please help me, I have spent all year working really, really hard and being really, really good, but poor Santa doesn’t have time to visit grown ups, he is far too busy delivering lovely presents to all the good children like you, which is much better than him visiting us old people.
So instead I would love to have your big Elf give my website a once over and help my new photography business make pretty pictures for lots more people in 2011.

    Merry Christmas

    YvonneXX 😉
